Cone-beam guided implant surgery allows your procedure to be planned virtually on a computer in advance of your surgery. In the planning stages of implant treatment, a cone-beam x-ray is taken in our office. We then utilize advanced computer programs to review placing your implants using a 3D representation of your mouth. These implant positions can be shared in advance with your general dentist so that treatment plan is ideal.

Guided dental implant surgery is typically performed in much less time than previous methods of traditional dental implant surgery. Less incisions and sutures are usually needed and therefore post-operative swelling / discomfort is decreased. This state-of-the-art procedure can be used for patients requiring 1 implant to patients in need of full mouth smile makeover. The bottom line is that cone beam imaging gives us the most accurate and safest way to place dental implants.
